Absolutely stunning!!
I'm really sorry, David - I haven't had access to the internet for a little
while, and so couldn't respond to you - I do apologise :o(
But yeah - it was great. So so intimate. I preferred it to larger gigs -
even only slightly larger at places like Shepherds Bush. You could see the
interactions between the members of the band - when they were laughing at
private jokes etc - and it felt as though they were performing to you
because they wanted to, and enjoyed it, rather than because it's a big gig
and they have to (which is the impression I often get at big gigs in
general - no matter what the band).
Plus, they did a surprising setlist - including King or Cripple, Come Like
You Promised and It's OK. King or Cripple was probably the best moment for
me, as it really spoke to me.
On what I heard that evening, I can heartily recommend the new album too.
The songs sounded fresh and vibrant and worthy of many listens!
Mm, an amazing experience - definitely one of the best gigs of my life.

PS: Anyone who was there, I went on the 20th and was wearing a Santa hat
and right in front of Martin and Stu G...... ;o)
